Full Review
Private Internet Access (PIA) is the transparency champion of the VPN world. Every single client application is fully open-source, allowing anyone to inspect the code for vulnerabilities or backdoors. This level of transparency is unmatched in the industry.
PIA's no-logs policy isn't just marketing — it's been proven in court on two separate occasions where the company was unable to provide any user data to law enforcement because none existed. This is the strongest real-world validation any VPN can offer.
With over 35,000 servers (many of which are virtual), PIA offers one of the largest networks available. The recent addition of unlimited simultaneous connections makes it even more compelling. Port forwarding support is a bonus for torrent users.
The MACE feature effectively blocks ads, trackers, and malware at the DNS level. While the apps could use a visual refresh, they're packed with advanced configuration options that power users will appreciate.
